Wholesale terms of sale

Last updated October 24, 2026. These terms apply to every order placed with Tressmax.

1. Wholesale only

Tressmax sells exclusively to businesses for resale. By opening an account you confirm you are buying for resale and not for personal use. Prices are shown only to approved accounts and may change without notice; the price at the time you place an order is the price you pay.

2. Account approval

Accounts are reviewed before pricing is unlocked. We may decline or suspend an account at our discretion — for example where resale documentation is missing or where an account is used by a non-retailer. You are responsible for keeping your business details and shipping address current.

3. Pricing, tax and resale certificates

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is collected unless a valid resale certificate is on file for the ship-to state. Providing a certificate that does not apply to your business is your responsibility and any resulting tax, penalty or interest is yours to pay.

4. Net terms

Approved retailers may order on net 60 terms, interest free. Your order is invoiced when placed and the card on file is charged on the due date, sixty days later. Your available credit is your approved limit less any invoiced amounts you have not yet paid. Orders that would exceed the limit must be paid by card at the time of order.

If a charge fails, we will contact you. Accounts more than 10 days past due may have ordering suspended, and unpaid balances may be referred for collection. You agree to pay reasonable costs of collection, including attorney fees, on overdue balances.

5. Shipping

Orders ship from Dallas, Texas, normally within one to two business days. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier, except where the goods arrive damaged — see section 6. Shipping is free on orders over $350 and $18 flat below that, within the contiguous United States. Alaska, Hawaii and international destinations are quoted separately.

6. Damaged, short or incorrect shipments

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the shipping carton and the affected units. We will replace, credit or refund at our option. Claims made after 48 hours may not be honoured because we cannot claim against the carrier.

7. Returns

Your first order with each brand may be returned in whole or in part within 14 days of delivery, provided units are unopened, unused and in resaleable condition with any security tag intact. Return shipping on first orders is covered by us. After that, returns are accepted only for defective goods or our error. Hair products that have been opened cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

8. Product information

We describe products from the manufacturer's packaging and our own inspection. Length is the manufacturer's stated length, measured as supplied — not stretched. Colour codes follow the manufacturer's naming. Slight variation between production lots is normal in this category and is not a defect.

9. Limitation of liability

Our liability on any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods in that order. We are not liable for lost profit, lost sales, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Venue for any dispute lies in Dallas County, Texas.
